Backup Camera with Dynamic Gridlines (pictured above)

As mentioned above, a rearview camera is not only vital, it’s soon to be a requirement in all vehicles. Luckily, the rearview camera from Toyota is top of the line. Simply shift the vehicle into reverse, and the screen automatically displays the rearview video. Not only does it feature crystal clear, full-color video displayed on an in-dash, high-definition LCD screen, it also features colorful animated guidelines to help you properly angle your reverse.

Birds Eye View Monitor

In addition to the traditional rear view camera, some Toyota models offer a composite view made with four external cameras. As seen below, the display adds combined video from multiple external cameras to create a top-down birds-eye-view, making parking in the city a breeze.

Multi-Terrain Monitor (pictured below)

Available in Toyota SUVs, a set of cameras mounted underneath the vehicle provide a live feed of the surface immediately beneath the chassis to help with steering. The image projects animated guidelines to show the precise location and angle of the wheels in order to navigate rocky terrain. Other telemetry information, such as level and distance to obstacles makes it easy to get your SUV through the toughest spots.
